Meet the Doctors of Utah Surgical Arts

Dr. Michael D. Harris

Dr. Michael D Harris has been practicing Facial and Oral Surgery in Utah since 1998. In 2001 he designed and constructed the Utah Surgical Arts outpatient surgical facility, which is accredited by AAAHC. Dr. Harris along with his wife and six children enjoy living in Utah County and are looking forward to raising their family in such a beautiful place. Dr. Harris has 12 years of experience specializing in all aspects of facial, reconstructive, cosmetic, and oral surgery.

Following his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University, Dr. Harris chose to pursue the artistic science of facial, oral, and cosmetic surgery in the 'European tradition', where specialization in facial surgery requires both a medical and dental degree. His medical degree and residency training were completed at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He received his dental degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dr. Harris is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Academic achievements include scholastic honors and multiple scientific research award. His goal is provide excellent surgical care in a comfortable environment.

Dr. David Park

David Park DDS, MD is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who enjoys practicing the expanded scope of maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Park received a bachelors of arts degree from Brigham Young University. He received a scholarship to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He accepted a residency position at the prestigous University of Louisville, where he recieved his medical degree, completed an internship in General Surgery, and obtained a certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr Park practices the expanded scope of maxillofacial surgery with includes, placement of dental implants, extraction of wisdom teeth, removal of pathology, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma and reconstructive surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and sleep disorder/apnea surgery. Dr. Park has staff privileges at various hospitals to perform these procedures.

Dr. Park is a member of numerous professional organizations such as; The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Medical Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Park is board certified by ABOMS and has reicieved several awards for his academic and professional aceivements as well as research.

Dr. Park is married to the former Amy Lawson and together they have three wonderful children. He is actively involved in his professional organizations and he and his family are involved their community and church.

Dr. Christopher J. Price

Christopher J. Price DDS, MD is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, specializing in all aspects of oral and facial surgery.

He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He received his dental degree from Columbia University in New York, NY. He successfully completed an internship in General Surgery and a six year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial and Affiliated Hospitals program in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Price then accepted a cosmetic surgery fellowship where he trained under Dr. Drake Vincent in South Ogden, UT, receiving extensive training in facial plastic surgery.

Dr. Price performs all aspects of oral, maxillofacial, facial plastic and reconstructive procedures including the minimal incision facelift or "S-Lift". In addition to cosmetic surgery, Dr. Price's interests include reconstructive surgery of the face and jaws including placement of dental implants to replace teeth that have been removed, the removal of wisdom teeth, corrective jaw surgery and surgical treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. Dr. Price maintains staff privileges to perform these procedures at various hospitals.

Dr. Price is licensed as both a physician and dentist in the state of Utah. He is a member of numerous professional societies and organizations including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Dental Association and the American Medical Association.
