Benefits of All-on-4 Treatment Concept

All-on4 treatment concept in South Jordan, Provo, Payson, and Lehi, Utah

This life-changing procedure provides confidence and the ability to eat and smile with a complete set of teeth.

There are several options to consider when replacing multiple teeth. These include removable dentures, bridges, or partial. These treatments usually require numerous appointments, extended healing periods, and often additional procedures such as bone grafting or sinus lifts. Dentures must be replaced every few years due to wear and tear, and patients often find them embarrassing.

Using the All-on-4 treatment concept technique, sometimes called Teeth-in-an-Hour, our skilled surgical team can permanently replace all of the teeth in one or both arches. This treatment provides all the health benefits of dental implants while providing you with a completely new smile. Not only will you experience less post-surgical discomfort, swelling, and bruising, this procedure can be performed at a fraction of the cost of other treatment methods. Other benefits of undergoing a full-arch restoration with All-on-4 treatment concept include:

  • Prevent Bone Loss. The new arches of teeth are secured with dental implants, which anchor into the jaw bone. This anchorage stimulates the jaw bone and prevents the bone from deteriorating. Dental implants are the only tooth replacement option that fuse to the jaw bone, unlike dentures and bridges, which only sit on top of the ridge in the mouth.
  • Immediate Results. Your replacement teeth will be attached to your new implants immediately after your surgery. Unlike other implant procedures that delay the placement of the replacement tooth or teeth, you can begin experiencing the functional and aesthetic benefit of your new smile right away.
  • Less Recovery Time. Your implants and replacement teeth can be placed with just one surgical procedure. This minimizes recovery time and mitigates post-surgical side effects such as pain and swelling.
  • Increased Confidence. You can feel like you again with a complete smile. There is no need for special rinses, removing dentures during meals, or dealing with the inefficiency of traditional dentures. You can enjoy eating, laugh without hiding your smile, and live your life with complete confidence in your new, fully functioning smile.

Candidacy for All-on-4 Treatment Concept

Full-arch restoration in South Jordan, Provo, Payson, and Lehi, Utah

If you have many missing or failing teeth, you are likely a candidate for the All-on-4 treatment concept.

If you are currently wearing dentures or are about to lose many or all of your teeth, you are a great candidate for this procedure. Patients who have been told that they are not a candidate for a fixed bridge or an implant due to bone loss are still able to undergo the All-on-4 treatment concept thanks to bone grafting techniques. Our skilled surgical team will complete a full oral and medical evaluation to determine the most appropriate plan of treatment to address your individual dental needs.

If you are in Provo, Payson, South Jordan, or Lehi, UT, and would like to learn about your tooth replacement options, we invite you to contact Utah Surgical Arts. Our trusted experts have been serving Utah’s patients for decades, and we look forward to caring for your smile.

The Surgical Procedure

Prior to surgery, our team will take CBCT scans of your mouth and face. This helps create a surgical guide for implant placement, and will allow our experts to assess your jaw bone health. We will discuss your options for anesthesia and sedation, then determine the right option for your surgery. As oral surgeons, we are qualified to administer all forms of anesthesia.

During the procedure, your oral surgeon will extract any remaining teeth and place four dental implants in each arch. Your custom, fixed denture is fabricated beforehand; once the implants are in place, the prosthesis is attached. You will walk out of our office with a brand new smile that you can enjoy immediately.

AAAHC Accreditation

Utah Surgical Arts is approved by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). This accreditation is difficult to obtain and allows our office to function as a hospital and/or surgical center. Since extensive surgeries must be performed in a surgical center, there are many instances where the patient may be unable to undergo surgery due to the high cost of the hospital or surgical center. If your surgery can be performed at Utah Surgical Arts, the cost savings may be significant. Many patients who were unable to have the procedure due to the high cost involved were able to have the procedure performed at Utah Surgical Arts. Learn More.

Types of Anesthesia

Our surgeons at Utah Surgical Arts offer many anesthesia and sedation options for patients to choose from.

Watch Review

"So, I had no front teeth, and the bridge that I had had come out. My choices were either to get another bridge put in or to get the implants put in. Dr. Harris, from the moment I met him, I loved the guy. His knowledge of what he was doing, just the confidence that he has going into it, put me at ease. The surgery went great — textbook. The cool thing about it is I'll be able to eat anything that I want moving forward, and they feel like my own natural teeth. If anybody were to ask me who I would recommend to have do the oral surgery, Dr. Harris would be the first and only name I would give them."
