When the anesthesia has taken effect, your surgeon will extract any visible third molars. Incisions in the gum tissue will be made as necessary, and large teeth may be broken up for easier removal. Stitches will be placed as needed, and you will rest comfortably until the anesthesia wears off. You must have a designated driver present at the office during surgery and after to take you home.
