About Dr. Park
Dr. Park enjoys practicing the expansive scope of maxillofacial surgery. This includes placement of dental implants, extraction of wisdom teeth, removal of pathology, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma and reconstructive surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and sleep disorder/apnea surgery. Dr. Park has staff privileges at various hospitals to perform these procedures.
Education & Residency
Dr. Park received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University. He received a scholarship to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School and accepted a residency position at the University of Louisville, where he received his medical degree, completed an internship in general surgery, and obtained a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Certifications
Dr. Park is a member of numerous professional organizations, such as the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), American Medical Association (AMA), and the American Dental Association (ADA). Dr. Park is board-certified by ABOMS and has received several awards for his academic and professional achievements, as well as research.
Outside the Office
Together Dr. Park and his wife have three wonderful children. He is actively involved in his professional organizations, and he and his family are involved in their community and church.
